5 years agoI don't think I ever reviewed this place but I should - it's where I got married 8 years ago today! The best bartender in the world, Nikki , introduced us to the place and after spending some time there as bar-flys it worked out that we had our wedding there. Still stands as one of the most fun days of my life. I am so happy that it seems the pub is still going strong - especially now during the pandemic. We live out of state now, otherwise, it would still be a regular watering-hole. This place is awesome - if you haven't been, GO. And if you've been, GO BACK! I feel so lucky I got to get married there :)

10 months agoThis place is so fun. Tucked away inside a secret lair, in the middle of Old Town Pasadena, this pub with a dream come true to see live music. I heard that Van Halen got their start here and we saw an amazing Ween cover band called Buckingham Ween, they rocked it so hard it almost melted my face. I can't wait to come back here, the promoter was amazing, Blues for Sallah, in the crowd was social and cool. I wish I could give six stars across the board. I'll be back soon, and hopefully you'll be there too.

6 months agoBar crawl with friends on Friday night and we ended our night at Old Towne Pub. I hadn't been here in decades ... some things don't change and that's the incredible charm of this great dive bar. It's still a great place for live music and good beer.

month agoWent for the first time in the mid-late '80's, when it was called the Loch Ness Monster. This great pub has had many ups and downs, caused by greedy land-lords, local over-building, etc.. I have returned a few times, over the years, and I am happy to see that it is still a going-concern. (Please support your local pubs/dive bars, folks-- they are a dying breed.)
